Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager in Salem, OR, and Vancouver, WA. The Area Sales Manager will generate group business in the designated market segment and maximize revenue profitability using proactive sales activities following established hotel brand standards. Will work alongside the Area Director of Sales.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred.
Strong understanding of the group sales process and customer relationship management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Responsibilities
Exceed quota and production targets by selling guest rooms and meeting space.
Manage business and client accounts with professionalism and timeliness.
Prepare and present effective contracts and proposals, maintaining organized documentation and reports.
Conduct hotel site tours for meeting planners and potential clients.
Lead sales calls and travel for business tradeshows.
Develop and maintain accounts (new and existing) with organized correspondence and follow-up.
